Quality of Gold Item Upgrades?
I just want to ask this simple question. Does the quality of a gold item have any effect on the upgrades it yields once identified?
For example, there are 2 gold bows. One is 13-26 while another is 15-28. Both are unidentified, do they both have equal chances of giving out the high upgrades (e.g. +30 fortitude grip). Thanks! |

ye.(same chance) i also think its just random. ive seen blue ones w/ better mod upgrades than gold/purple. you basically just salvage it out and use for a gold/purple wep. or vice versa.

Gold's tend to have better mods than purple, and purple tends to have better mods than blue. However this obviously isn't always true, but other than color there are no other defining factors in weapon mods.
